To ensure a PAWsitive rental experience for everyone, please follow these steps:

Always leash your pet

Walk your pet in designated pet areas only

Clean up after your pet, & properly dispose of waste

Report any unattended mess to your property manager

PET POLICIES


At Highland, we don’t like to nickel and dime our tenants with unnecessary fees. Therefore, we do not require monthly pet rent or non-fundable pet fees. Instead, we increase your security deposit based on the number of animals you have. We charge an additional $300 deposit for each animal. If you return the property in the same condition as you received it, then you can potentially receive all of your deposit after vacating the property. 


Other Pet Policies:


  • We welcome dogs, cats, birds and fish
  • No more than 2 pets per unit
  • Breed restrictions vary from property to property. 
  • We require dogs and cats to always wear a collar and name tag.
  • Tenants must sign a Pet Addendum before a pet can be approved. 
  • *These pet policies may change from property to property depending on the Landlord’s preference. However, we try our best to encourage each Landlord to use our standard policy as seen above.
